Daria Klimentová is a Czech ballet dancer and photographer. After training at the Dance Conservatory in Prague, she was a soloist at the National Theatre Ballet Company in Prague for three years. In 1992 she became a principal dancer at the Cape Town City Ballet in South Africa, and the following year she was invited to join Scottish Ballet in Glasgow. In 1996 Klimentová became a principal dancer at the English National Ballet, which ensured her fame both in her home country and around the world. She has achieved the highest possible position in the ballet hierarchy as Senior Principal Dancer, and over the course of her career she has danced in over 1,000 performances, received numerous awards and won several prestigious international dance competitions. She currently focuses on dance instruction at the Royal Ballet School in London.
